At a glance
Acme Systems uploads a SaaS MSA. LegalITM matches licensed counsel. Both parties collaborate in a secure vault until the business is ready to sign.
Follow Maya, ops lead at Acme Systems, as she gets a vendor MSA reviewed before the quarter closes.
Maya registers with her work email. No lengthy onboarding— she can upload a contract as soon as the account is ready.
From the Matter Dashboard, Maya drops the SaaS MSA into the vault, adds a short synopsis for counsel, and clicks Match with an attorney.
Status moves to Awaiting attorney assignment. LegalITM notifies qualifying attorneys. Maya can track status and waiting party from the vault.
After a verified attorney claims the matter and submits engagement terms, Maya is notified. She reviews LegalITM platform terms, counsel’s engagement language, and any matter-specific addendum—then accepts to authorize the review.
Follow Alex Byrne, a commercial contracts attorney, from verification through reviewing Acme’s MSA.
Alex creates an attorney account, then completes intake: bar number, jurisdiction, practice areas, bar card, government ID, and attestations.
A staff member reviews credentials on the Staff dashboard and approves, rejects, or requests more information. Only after approval does Alex see a Verified badge and the Matter Dashboard.
Alex’s dashboard shows an Available matters count. Opening the list reveals unassigned matters with the client’s synopsis. She drills in, reads the documents, then claims the matter before anyone else does.
After claiming, Alex completes the LOE: LegalITM platform terms (fixed), her boilerplate from preferences (editable), and optional matter-specific notes. Submitting notifies Maya to sign before review proceeds.
Once Maya accepts engagement, Alex downloads the original, prepares a redline and plain-English summary, and posts guidance—including negotiation priorities.
Matter threads keep questions tied to the contract. The message center surfaces items that need a response, and LegalITM support is available for technical help.
Maya reviews the redline and replies on the matter thread with a question about the liability cap. That message is marked as needing counsel’s response.
Alex sees the envelope badge on the dashboard, opens the matter, and replies with practical advice. The open item for counsel clears; Maya is now waiting to confirm negotiation direction.
The shared message center lists matters that need a response and offers a channel to LegalITM staff for technical help—plus phone/text: (801) 361-5265 (call 9–5, text 24/7).
When review is complete, Maya downloads the final redline and signs with open eyes. Alex’s fee moves to awaiting payout on the counsel dashboard.
Whether you’re a business user or counsel, LegalITM staff can help with technical questions, account access, verification status, and platform issues.
